Event MC - Andrew Klein 

Andrew is one of Australia’s leading Professional Conference MCs and a Pitching & Presentation Skills speaker, trainer and writer, working on conferences around the Asia-Pacific region as well as the US and South Africa.

A former corporate lawyer, Andrew quit the law in the late 90’s due to a medical condition called ‘extreme boredom’ before starting up his own business as a corporate trainer and speaker.

Over the past 25 years Andrew has become one of this country’s most engaged Conference MCs and interviewers and brings his casual yet corporate style to all proceedings. He is well-known on the conference circuit for his revealing speaker introductions, his improvisational skills and ability to adapt to different audiences.


Lydia Williams 

Lydia Williams is the first Aboriginal goalkeeper for Australia’s Matildas and a 2x Olympian. 

With 138 caps for Australia, she is a renowned Australian athlete. She has played international football at the highest level in the US for the Western New York Flash, with PSG in France, Arsenal in the UK and currently with Brighton & Hove Albion Women in the Women’s Super League. Twice named PFA Women’s Footballer of the Year, she has also been inducted into the Aboriginal and Islander Sports Hall of Fame. 

Lydia is the author of two children’s books, “Saved!” and “Goal!”, which are about friendship, sport and teamwork. Off the field she is a calm, easy-going person and on the field, she is a fierce and focused competitor. 

The daughter of a proud Noongar man from south-west WA, Williams does more than just inspire football fans in Australia with her performances, the player, turned author, has become an inspiration to all Indigenous women, who aspire to represent themselves and their culture, on the world stage. 

Lydia will take to the stage at SHAPE 2024 to discuss her journey to success - ‘Leaving a Legacy’. A story of determination and influence, being a role model, and inspiring the next generation to make their dreams a reality.



Dr Kirstin Ferguson 

With more than three decades of leadership experience, Kirstin has a PhD in leadership and culture, and was the only Australian to be recognised in a recent list of the world’s top 30 leadership thinkers to watch. Kirstin also has honours degrees in Law and History, and over a decade of experience on a range of public and private company boards, including an appointment by the Australian Prime Minister as Acting Chair and Deputy Chair of the Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC). 

Kirstin has been the CEO of a global consulting company and began her career as an Officer in the Royal Australian Air Force. An author of two books, her latest book, Head & Heart: The Art of Modern Leadership, went straight to the bestseller lists within days of release. Kirstin also writes a popular weekly column for The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age on work, leadership and careers. Kirstin was awarded an AM in the Australia Day Honours List in 2023 for her significant contribution to business and gender equality. 

At SHAPE, Kirstin will present her keynote ‘Leading with Impact: Mastering the art of modern leadership’.



Maz Farrelly 

Maz has been the boss of the biggest TV shows in the world, with the biggest teams, budgets, audiences, and stars. Her content has been watched more than eight BILLION times, and she once broke Twitter. Deliberately.

Now Maz Speaks, and she’s on a personal mission to help smart people and ambitious corporations like yours, think like TV producers, strategically and critically, so you engage and deliver your story with the impact of a large cement fist in a soft cashmere glove. Mark Bouris describes Maz as a ‘genius with people’ and says she offers ‘a service every business really needs.’ She likes Mark.

Dr Amantha Imber 

 Dr Imber is an organisational psychologist and founder of behaviour change consultancy Inventium. She hosts top ranking podcast How I Work, which has had over 5 million downloads.

Amantha is also the co-creator of the Australian Financial Review’s Most Innovative Companies list and the AFR BOSS Best Places to Work list. Amantha has helped companies such as Google, Apple, Disney, LEGO, Atlassian, Commonwealth Bank and many others reinvent the way they approach their work.

In 2019, Amantha was named as one of the Australian Financial Review’s 100 Women of Influence. In 2021, she won the Thinkers50 Innovation Award (described by the Financial Times as the ‘Oscars for Management Thinking’), which recognises the thinker who has contributed the most to the understanding of innovation globally over the last two years. Amantha was the first Australian to win this award.

Amantha’s thoughts have appeared in Harvard Business Review, Forbes, Entrepreneur and Fast Company and she is the author of three international bestselling books: Time Wise, The Innovation Formula, and The Creativity Formula. Her latest book The Health Habit came out in early 2024. 

At SHAPE Amantha will present 'Find Your Focus' - Science-backed strategies for turbo charging productivity and wellbeing.



Ashley Fell 

Ashley Fell is a Social Researcher, Author, TEDx Speaker and Director of Advisory at the internationally recognised McCrindle. From topics including future trends, business insights, leadership and communication skills, Ashley delivers over 50 visually engaging, tailored, and research-based presentations annually for corporate, government and not-for-profit clients in Australia and overseas.

Ashley is the author of two books on leadership and generational change: Work Wellbeing and Generation Alpha. With academic qualifications in communications and as a generational expert, Ashley understands that leaders need to inspire and engage employees and consumers, and connect them with the organisation’s purpose and vision.

Her expertise is in training and equipping leaders and teams on how to lead across generational divides; particularly Gen Y (popularly known as millennials), Gen Z and now the newest generation, Generation Alpha.

From Ashley’s experience in creating engaging research-based content, strategising public relations, managing social media platforms and coordinating industry events, she is well positioned to advise on how to achieve cut through in these message-saturated times.

In addition to delivering informative keynote presentations with splashes of humour at conferences, boardroom briefings, and PD Days; and MCing special events; Ashley is regularly interviewed for print media, TV programs, radio and podcasts.

 Ashley will present key data on future work trends, providing generational insights and business forecasts.



Nina Mapson Bone FRCSA

Author of ‘Meaningful Work: Unlock Your Unique Path to Career Fulfilment’, Nina is a people strategist. She consults with boards, CEOs, founders, and executives on bridging the disconnect between their strategy and the needs, motivations, and capabilities of their people.  

She has experienced first-hand the power of work to transform your life and has seen time and again how, when engaged in meaningful work, every outcome at work improves for both the individual and the organisation. These insights saw her win multiple accolades such as AFR Best Places to Work, Great Places to Work, and Wrk+ Best Places to Work. 

Nina is currently the Chair of the People and Culture Committee and a Non-Executive Director for the Royal Australian Institute of Architects, and the Chair of the Development Committee of the North Foundation.  She is the immediate Past President and Chair of RCSA. She is also a member of the Leadership Think Tank, a CEO Peer Advisory Group, and the Australian Institute of Company Directors.   

Nina’s executive career has spanned three continents, and diverse sectors across NFP, education, professional services, technology, government, health & social care, association & membership, engineering & technical. She was previously the Managing Director of Beaumont People, where she led a period of significant growth for the organisation, during which it was recognised with multiple awards.  

She has been regularly featured in the media, including ABC RN, The Today Show, Sky News, news.com.au, The Weekend Australian, CEO Magazine, Smart Company, women’s agenda, HR Daily, Third Sector, and Kochie’s Business Builders.  

 At SHAPE Nina will present on bridging the disconnect between strategy and people's needs, capabilities and motivations.



Arun Pradhan

A self-professed ‘learning geek’, Arun spends much of his free time researching latest developments in cognitive psychology, behavioural economics, marketing and studies that shed light on how people learn, innovate, and achieve more. 

Arun was the winner of the AITD L&D Professional of the Year Award (2017) and the Australian eLearning Industry Association Award for Individual Excellence (2015). He has launched two online startups which have generated six-figure incomes each, and is currently the General Manager of Learning at ANZ. Arun is globally recognised as a leading innovator and practitioner in learning agility, design thinking, and performance. 

 At SHAPE Arun will present on Building Learning Agility in Your Organisation.

TICKET TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Conference Cancellation Policy:

All cancellations must be made in writing to the RCSA Events team. Depending on when your cancellation is received, the below concessions will be made.

  • Up to 60 days prior to the event date - full registration fees will be refunded
  • Between 60 - 31 days prior – 50% cancellation fee will apply to registration fees paid*
  • Within 30 days - no refund on monies paid*

*Please note - you may transfer your registration to another person, at no additional cost, if you are unable to attend.

Should the RCSA be forced to cancel the Shape Conference, the following cancellation policy would apply to recoup a portion of non-refundable hard costs incurred. The RCSA will endeavour to reduce these costs as much as possible in the lead up to the event, however, by registering as an attendee, you are agreeing to the following maximum non-refundable fees:

  • Between 60 - 31 days prior – 20% cancellation fee will apply to registration fees paid
  • Within 30 days - 35% cancellation fee will apply to registration fees paid
