He is Vice President of The World Employment Confederation and was an equity Partner with FCB, Australia’s largest dedicated workplace legal and consulting firm. Prior to this, he founded and grew his own consulting firm which specialised in lobbying and risk management within the recruitment and employment services industry.
He gained invaluable experience working with IPA, one of Australia’s most established recruitment firms, where he was the Workplace Relations and Safety Manager as well as 7 years working as an Advisor and Advocate for Australian Industry Group. In addition to his successful professional services career he founded a tech start up in 2006, which continues to successfully service the recruitment market today.
A Graduate of a Bachelor of Business (Marketing & HR) at RMIT University, Jessica brings a strong commercial acumen to her approach with clients and candidates. She is passionate about developing meaningful relationships and networks to provide optimal outcomes within the recruitment process and has consulted to many global, household-name brands on business-critical vacancies.
Jessica is currently an elected Council Representative on RCSA VIC/TAS Council and is serving as Chair of the Next Gen Committee, a strategic initiative of the RCSA. She has contributed to and advised on several Next Gen initiatives including peer support group NEST (aimed at junior recruiters within their first 12-18months), Deakin University to bring the first ever Major and Minor in Recruitment and the establishment of Recruitment Careers (an RCSA funded initiative to stimulate attraction to industry).
Today James leads the national utility division as an Engineering and Executive Search Consultant and has recently founded a Podcast called Utility Leaders. Utility Leaders is a space where industry professionals and thought leaders can share their journey to engage, educate and inspire the next generation of utility professionals. James is also a Member of Engineers Australia, IPEWAQ (Institute of Public Works Engineering Australasia, Queensland), Australian Water Association and is part of the RCSA QLD/NT Council where he represents Memberships and the Next Gen Collective.
Currently, Katherine works as Talent Acquisition Business Partner for PERSOLKELLY. This role gives her the opportunity to partner with the business to find and recruit new consultants and future leaders, Nationwide. According to Kat, working in Recruitment can be challenging but the rewards and benefits, both financially and in terms of career growth and progression, far out way those challenges.
