Stuart Freeman
Stuart has been working in the recruitment industry since 1993, primarily focusing on Financial Services recruitment, which includes both Financial Markets and Insurance Markets.
In 1996, he founded Freeman Adams, a specialist recruitment firm dedicated to financial markets. The company quickly developed, becoming one of Australia's leading financial markets recruitment businesses, and was acquired by the publicly listed recruitment group Candle (Clarius Group) in 1999.
In 2002, Stuart launched SMF Recruitment, an insurance and banking recruitment firm. This business rapidly surpassed growth and profitability expectations and was acquired by the publicly listed Rubicor Group in 2006.
In 2011, Stuart founded Kennedy Reid. He remains actively involved in the recruitment industry and has presented at various annual RCSA conferences. In November 2019,he was a presenter at the World Recruitment Industry Conference. In 2024, Kennedy Reid was acquired by the Profusion Group, and Stuart continues to work for the company as the Director of Growth.
Matthew Bennett
Matt has been working in the recruitment industry since the early 1990s. Early in his career, he served as a consultant in various sectors, including financial services, technology, commerce, and industry, where he specialized in placing both temporary and permanent roles
In 2000, Matt moved to Hong Kong to work with Robert Walters and was appointed to run the local office in 2009. By 2011, he took on additional responsibilities, leading the Thailand office and launching a new business in Taiwan. In 2013, Matt was appointed as the leader of the Greater China business, overseeing 200 staff across five offices in the region.
In 2021, Matt relocated to Australia, where he became the Chief Executive Officer of the now Profusion Group, based in the Sydney office.
