Over the last decade, Michael has trained thousands of recruiters and supported hundreds of recruitment managers. He has built strong and successful L&D teams, re-engineered L&D functions and processes from the ground up, and rolled out new training programs and initiatives that have reduced costs, increased revenue and improved productivity and performance.
Michael loves working in the industry and feels proud of the impact that recruitment professionals have on people's lives and clients' business operations. Michael is a member of the RCSA WA Council and helps maintain professional standards across the industry, promoting recruitment as a career of choice.
William Prest
William has built a career at Hays over 11 years and is currently serving as an Associate Director in NSW. He specialises in HR Executive Search assignments across the NSW region and also oversees Hays' Professional Services agency recruitment teams, managing 20 consultants across HR, Legal, Marketing, Procurement, Insurance, and Banking sectors.
William began his career with Hays in London within the Accountancy & Finance division, where he became the top biller for Non-Qualified Finance in the UK. With over half a decade of experience in the Sydney market, William has consistently delivered as a billing consultant while expanding his leadership role to manage the region he oversees today.
Jane Hughes
Jane’s passion and love for the recruitment industry began in the UK, where she started her career after returning from travelling in Australia. What began as a curiosity quickly turned into a lifelong career path, driven by a genuine interest in people and helping them achieve their goals. Jane returned to Australia and has since built a successful recruitment career spanning over 20 years working across global, boutique and mid-tier agencies.
As a National Account Director at Bluefin Resources, Jane specialises in the Finance & Accounting space across the commercial sector. She is deeply committed to building authentic relationships and is driven by a desire to connect great talent with her clients whilst balancing a busy home and family.
