Amy Chapman
Amy is the Group Director of Strategy & Growth at PeopleIN and a former professional footballer who represented the Matildas. She is a football commentator for major events like the FIFA Women’s World Cup and the Olympics and serves as a Board Director for Football Queensland.
Amy is also the founder of the Medical Technology Institute, a sales executive, and a keynote speaker.
Sue Howse
Senior Executive Talent, Workforce Planning, and solutions leader and professional with over 25 years-experience, globally with extensive knowledge of the holistic Talent Lifecycle. Sue has deep expertise in Business and Talent Strategy alignment, Talent Trends, Workforce Strategy and Talent Management. Over the past two decades Sue has designed, implemented, and delivered some of the most complex Talent Operating models for both contingent and permanent talent programs.
Maroun Elias
Maroun is a Director in EY’s Global Immigration practice. He specialises in cross-border talent management, collaborating with organisations in the healthcare sector to bring critical skills into Australia. Maroun incorporates workforce planning and talent acquisition strategies to develop mobility solutions, with an entrenched focus on immigration requirements. Maroun is a practising Australian immigration lawyer.
Maroun has 15 years of experience at leading international professional services organisations and top-tier law firms. He has extensive experience in global mobility, with a comprehensive understanding on national and international immigration strategy. Maroun has a proficient expertise in all aspects of the Australian immigration framework and has extensive experience navigating overseas immigration requirements, mainly in the United States, United Kingdom, Singapore and Hong Kong. Maroun also has a strong background in corporate structuring, immigration regulatory compliance and managing immigration risk reviews and audits for his clients. Maroun is responsible for the day to day management and delivery of immigration services to his clients.
Prior to specialising in mobility, Maroun was a compliance and corporate tax lawyer and advised clients on transnational-tax requirements. Maroun enjoys the challenge of driving high-risk immigration compliance programs and leading strategic innovation in mobility modelling and programming. Maroun brings leadership insights gained from delivering results in diverse industries and mentoring a dispersed team across Australia.
Linda Macpherson
Director, National Health Workforce Taskforce
Dr Linda Macpherson has worked at the NSW Ministry of Health for nearly 20 years. Previously Medical Adviser in Workforce Planning and Talent Development NSW Ministry of Health, she has extensive experience in workforce policy at both a state and national level, and internal and external stakeholder engagement and management. Linda currently supports the work of the national Health Workforce Taskforce which includes delivery of both the Kruk Review and National Health Practitioner Ombudsman recommendations.
Phuong Huynh
Manager, National Health Workforce Taskforce
Phuong Huynh is currently the project manager of the Kruk Review projects that are being delivered on behalf of the inter-jurisdictional Health Workforce Taskforce. With a background as a health economist, Phuong has worked in the NSW Ministry of Health for the past 5 years. In her current role, Phuong leads a team of four Senior Project Officers to drive multiple projects for the Kruk Review. She frequently coordinates with stakeholders across the nation, including Department of Health and Aged Care, Ahpra, Rural Health Workforce Agency Networks and peak health professional bodies, to support the project portfolio.
Megan McCarthy
Megan McCarthy is a Team Coordinator at SafeWork NSW, leading the team focused on the Healthcare and Social Assistance sector. She is new to this role, having previously worked as a Senior Researcher with the Centre for Work Health and Safety. During her time at CWHS Megan played a key role in delivering the Innovation Showcase at the 2023 World Congress on Safety and Health at Work, coordinating over 60 WHS presentations across three days.
Before joining SafeWork NSW, Megan was the owner and Principal of a research consultancy, delivering strategic insights to both government and private sector clients. Her clients included NSW Health, NSW Treasury, the Department of Education, and several major healthcare providers—including those operating in the labour hire market.
With experience conducting hundreds of interviews with nurses, doctors, and allied health professionals, Megan brings a deep understanding of the healthcare sector and its unique challenges. She holds a Bachelor of Social Science, has presented at the European Society of Market Research, and taught Research for the Australian Research Society
Amy Towers
Amy is the Founder of Risk Collective and serves as its Director of WHS, People and Compliance, bringing over 20 years’ experience advising recruitment and staffing businesses across Australia and New Zealand. She supports organisations to lift compliance, reduce litigation risk, and build safer, high-performing workplaces.
Amy has been engaged in on-hire litigation matters to provide expert opinion and is a Subject Matter Expert for the RCSA. A sought-after speaker and consultant, she holds qualifications in OHS, Business, and Communication, and is known for her practical insights and clear, confident voice on workplace risk.
Tracey Mesken (Armstrong)
The recruitment industry is changing rapidly. Navigating through the opportunities and challenges of its fast-evolving recruitment marketing landscape is Tracey Mesken With over two decades of marketing experience—and a deep specialty in recruitment marketing—Tracey thrives at the intersection of strategy, technology, and human connection.
Currently Adecco’s Career Discovery Lead, in the Marketing Team at ADF Careers, Tracey collaborates across cross-functional teams to deliver HR/Marketing tech solutions that shape how people discover and consider careers in the Australian Defence Force. Previously as Head of Marketing at WorkPac Group, she led marketing for nine brands including Nursing, Doctors and Allied Health, delivering campaigns that attracted thousands of candidates.
In Tracey’s roles she has been responsible for market and brand research, brand development, positioning, prospect experience, digital marketing, analytics, advertising and design. Tracey has experience across multiple recruitment marketing channels. These include owned media like candidate apps, candidate portals and database marketing, as well as paid media including job boards, traditional and digital advertising. She is a Certified Practicing Marketer and Fellow of the Australian Marketing Institute (AMI).
Tom Reardon
Tom Reardon is the founder and executive director of People In Ltd a labour hire and specialist services business generating over $1B. He is recognised throughout Australia as a leader in the workforce management sector and has started multiple businesses in the sector over the past 20 plus years of which are part of the People In Group of businesses. The business is a leading provider in Health and Community Care, Blue Collar Industrial, Food Processing and Professional Sectors.
Tom chairs the QLD/NT RCSA Council and sits as council member with ANRA and is an advocate with government and industry for the sector.
Brooke Lord
Brooke is the Head of Advocacy & Policy at RCSA, the peak industry body for the recruitment and staffing sector in Australia and New Zealand. RCSA represents over 1000 corporate and individual members who source, screen and place hundreds of thousands of workers with business every year, across every industry in the labour market.
An experienced Public Affairs leader, Brooke has worked in Corporate and Public Affairs across a range of organisations in industries including agriculture, education, environment, aviation, health and now employment.
Brooke is a strong advocate for the vital role that non-traditional and flexible labour plays within the labour market, addressing unexpected and short-term staffing needs, in meeting surge requirements and in providing specialist skills or services.
Victoria Watts
Over 40 years’ experience as in-house legal advisor, risk manager and insurance broker.
Victoria has worked in the London, Sydney and now Melbourne insurance market and is therefore undoubtedly uniquely placed to provide wide ranging advice as to the best insurer option for a specific risk and to support recruiter and labour hire clients in mitigating exposures.
